Community Houses of Prayer (CHOP) involves and trains Christ's disciples in strategic prayer outreach over a 12 to 16 week period. Participants commit themselves to weekly group meetings and daily private prayer, resulting in an increased awareness of their people environments, a heightened sense of personal involvement as witnesses, and a greater level of activity in verbal witness.

The ministry weaves together four areas for the work of outreach: lifestyle evangelism, strategic prayer, personal spiritual renewal and spiritual warfare. CHOP brings prayer to the foundation and heart of any program for outreach. Although designed for groups of two or more, the CHOP Ministry Manual can be used on an individual basis as well.

The mission of Community Houses of Prayer is to mobilize Christ's disciples around the world where God has providentially placed them to reach others with the gospel through the intimacy and instrumentality of strategic prayer.
